A social bathhouse in three temperatures: heat, cold, rest. A concept site that sells a ritual, not a spa, with sessions, memberships and a journal in the CMS and drawings of the building instead of stock photos.

A social bathhouse in three temperatures: heat, cold, rest. A concept site that sells a ritual, not a spa, with sessions, memberships and a journal in the CMS and drawings of the building instead of stock photos.
Visit the live concept site ↗Bathhouse websites tend to look the same: steam, stone, soft-focus photos. Ember had to explain the circuit to a first-timer, make booking simple, and give regulars a reason to come back.
I planned the site in Relume as seven pages: The Ritual, Sessions and Events, Memberships, Spaces, Journal, Book and Home, then moved it to Webflow and rebuilt it in Client-First structure.
The CMS holds sessions, spaces, team and journal entries, so the bathhouse could run its own timetable. The copy is short and practical: timings, temperatures, what to bring, house rules.
The drawings carry the brand: a long section through the ember room, the cold plunge and the long pool, a plan of the five spaces, and loose pen sketches for every session and journal entry.
The building is imagined as board-formed concrete with one slot of daylight, and the drawings follow Tadao Ando’s sketch line: quick, overdrawn strokes, grid axes and dimension strings.
I made the technical drawings with AI and code rather than by hand: I directed the style, the references and every sheet, and built and refined them with Claude Code.
A working concept site with booking flow, memberships and a CMS-driven timetable. The spaces pages still use photographic renders; the drawings shown here are the parts of the site I want to carry forward.

Layout prototypes made from the design notes before the final build. The live site went another way, so these were set aside. They are kept here as part of the process.
